About Karako Suits

Karako Suits is a family owned and operated business. The first Karako Suits location opened on May of 1982, in the famous Garment District in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. This particular store, specializing in leather jackets & men’s suits, quickly gained the strong reputation of being the best deal in town. Saving people money, while providing first-class quality, has been the goal of the Karako Family since opening the doors to our first location 30 years ago.
 

Today, we operate 11 stores throughout New York and New Jersey. We have locations in Queens, Brooklyn, Nassau, Suffolk, and Rockland counties, in addition to our New Jersey location in Union. Having built strong relationships with manufactures and vendors over the past 30 years, we are able to provide the lowest prices and greatest value, something that our competition cannot match. In recent years, we began to manufacture our own line of Karako products, allowing us to personally select the fabrics and styles that will fulfill our stringent demands for the highest quality goods, while ensuring our merchandise keeps up with the latest fashion trends.
 

While suits continue to drive our business, we are proud of our latest additions to the Karako Family of products and services. In 2010, we launched our tuxedo rental division, and now, we offer both sales and rentals of tuxedos - giving our customers more choices. In 2012, we re-launched KarakoSuits.com, catering to our customer needs and vastly expanding our product line.

Our staff is well trained in the latest trends and fashions. They are with you every step of the way to insure that you look and feel your best. Our goal is to make every customer a return customer. In our first location over 30 years ago, the Karako Family worked together to run the operation and our customers always walked away feeling like they were part of the family.
